We provide an overview of languages, cultures and religious history of the Indic and Tibetan cultural regions, with a particular focus on Buddhist traditions.
Interested in studying Indology or Tibetology?
At LMU Munich, you can study for a Bachelor's degree in Buddhist and South Asian Studies (major, 120 ECTS) or a Master's degree in Religion and Philosophy in Asia (120 ECTS).

Students can take a leave of absence for up to two semesters. The leave of absence is arranged through the Student Office.
